Gotu Kola [Nervous] is a creeping marsh plant that contains no cola or caffeine, as its name would suggest. A member of the parsley family, it grows in tropical areas and is used in some places as ground cover to retard soil erosion. It grows primarily in India and some parts of Africa. It is also found in America, where it has generally been considered only a food for wild animals. It contains many nutrients that support the body’s vitality and feed the nervous system, including vitamins A, B, E and K, and magnesium. Nature’s Sunshine’s Gotu Kola is available in regular strength and in extra-strength ATC concentrated form. Each capsule contains 395 mg gotu kola (ATC concentrated 460 mg).
